Public SV and Cycle 0 data

These data can be used for your science project (thesis work or publications). For the tutorial, it is sufficient to have the calibrated data downloaded and unpacked.

  • Currently available Science Verification (SV) data can be obtained here: SV DATA
(Note: For most of the SV data sets CASA guides are available.)
  • Currently available Cycle 0 data sets can be obtained here: CYCLE 0 DATA
(Note: Upcomming Cycle 0 data sets can be reviewed here. They become public
after a one year proprietary period starting from the delivery of the data to the PI.)

Tutorial Information

The training is conducted using your own computer. Please bring your computer with CASA 4.0 already installed on it to the tutorial. Please also prepare two folders, one with the ALMA science data you want to work on (SV or Cycle 0 open data), and one with the tutorial scripts and data downloadable from the table below (in preperation). Also already unzip the data files.

Information on installing CASA 4.0 can be obtained from the NRAO website (note that Windows is not supported): CASA 4.0
