ALMA CSV

ASIAA scientists and engineers will participate in the commissioning and science verification (CSV) activities for ALMA. The CSV activities are to test the delivered instruments at the ALMA site, and to bring these instruments to the required levels of technical and scientific performance. The ALMA-Taiwan staff will join the international CSV team and work together for substantial periods of time at the operation support facility (OSF) in Chile.

At the current moment, ASIAA staff is performing testing with other ASIAA facilities such as the Submillimeter Array (SMA).
